6TH INTERNATIONAL CARTOON COMPETITION BERLIN 2015 The KURTUKUNST Gallery and LIMES Image Agency invite cartoonists from all over the world to participate in the 6th International Cartoon Competition Berlin 2015 with the theme "SPYING".
More Information Winners of the Competition 2014 The online contest was organized and arranged by the KURTUKUNST Gallery in collaboration with the LIMES Image Agency. 938 works of 354 cartoonists from 63 countries were sent to us. The first three prize winners are determined by an international independent jury. The Special Prize "BERLIN WALL" was choosen by the organizing team of the contest. We would like to thank all of the contestants of the competition. Special thanks to the members of the international jury, our cooperation partners the Berlin Agency for Electromobility eMO and the Museum THE STORY OF BERLIN. Co-operation Partners Berlin Agency for Electromobility eMOThe Berlin Agency for Electromobility is the central contact for electromobility in Germany’s capital region. eMO brings together expertise from business, science, government and administration. eMO links and coordinates key actors, recruits new partners for regional, national and international projects, and further promotes existing activities for the ongoing development of electromobility. eMO is coordinating the "Berlin-Brandenburg International Showcase for Electromobility", which is being sponsored by the federal government and the states of Berlin and Brandenburg for a period of three years. Further information www.emo-berlin.de/en THE STORY OF BERLIN at the Kurfürstendamm is the interactive museum of the capital. Spread over 6.000 square meters visitors can explore 800 years of Berlin history. In 23 theme rooms – each of them designed individually and equipped with modern multimedia technology – everyone can experience everyday life of the people of Berlin during different eras. One highlight of the exhibition is a guided tour through an original nuclear bomb shelter from the Cold War below the Kurfürstendamm which still can be used by 3.600 persons in case of an emergency.
