Date of birth on 9th January, 1976, at Tamluk, West Bengal. He is an B.V.A. from Rabindra Bharati Unversity. His letters are appeared in various English and Bengali newspapers. And some of his drawings on social and political issues have been published in newspapers and magazines.
He is awarded ‘Certificate of Merit’ for water color painting in Academy of Fine Arts’ Students’ Annual. And for drawings he is awarded ‘Certificate of Merit’ two-times by Rajya Charukala Parshad. He is a winner of Salam Bengal Award for brevity. And he wins prizes for best illustration from Times of India. He wins several times ‘best letter award’ from The Sunday Indian. He wins prize for ‘Letter of the Week’ from Indian Express. He writes a book on art for children ‘Chitrakatha.
