Call for Entries: 20th International Cartoon Festival – Solin 2025 (Croatia)

Solin, Croatia – The Solin Tourist Board, in collaboration with the Cultural Centre Zvonimir and the Public Library Solin, proudly announces the 20th International Cartoon Festival – Solin 2025. This prestigious event invites cartoonists from around the world to participate, regardless of nationality, age, gender, or professional background.

Festival Theme

Participants can submit works under either of the following themes:

• Your Favorite Cartoon

• Free Theme

Submission Guidelines

• Each artist may submit up to three original works.

• Works can be in black and white or color.

• Entries must be submitted in JPEG format, up to 300 dpi resolution, and should not exceed 3MB per file. Compressed formats (ZIP, RAR, etc.) will not be accepted.

• A brief CV of the artist must be attached.

• All submissions should be emailed to: ivic1963@gmail.com

Deadline

The final date for submission is September 10, 2025.

Awards and Prizes

A total of six awards will be presented, including:

• 1st Prize: Statue of the Head of Empress Plautilla + €1,020

• 2nd Prize: Stone Medallion of the Festival + €220

• 3rd Prize: Stone Medallion of the Festival + €120

• Solin Tourist Board Award

• 3 Special Festival Awards

Exhibition

An exhibition of selected works will be held at the Gallery of the Cultural Centre Zvonimir in Solin on September 25, 2025.

Additional Information

By submitting work to the festival, participants agree to allow the organizers to use their entries for promotional purposes related to the festival, without compensation. Submission implies full acceptance of all festival rules.
