Musa Gumus was born in Gaziantep-Turkey in 1963.

He gratuated from  Marmara University School of Business Administration and Management.

He has started his carrier in national cartoon magazines.

He worked as a cartoonist in HIBIR cartoon magazine from 1989 to 1994.He drew picture stories for kids in BANDO magazine. He had illustrations published in Nokta magazine.

He was one of the permanent employees in HBR MAYMUN  in the years 1994-1998.

His works were displayed in ‘’NEIGHOURS’’ Exhibition in Strasbourgh which was supported by EU Parliament.

With a group of his friends he published DINOZOR cartoon magazine of Cumhuriyet and he drew columns and covers cartoons like” Fathers and sons”.

He drew many pictures and cartoons  for Sistem Publishing Company.He wrote
script for a Radio program called “Funny News”  which took a humorous look at  daily and  politics news.

After he ended his work for cartoon magazines he started to work on international cartoon works in the year 2000.

He has participated competitions since 2001.He has had 169 awards from many national and international cartoon competitions.

One of his work was raised as a monument in Avenida dos Aliados Square Porto, Portugal in 2008.

He is married and he has a son named Can. He is a member of Turkish Cartoonists Association

Currently he has been working as cartoonist and art teacher at MEF SCHOOLS at Istanbul.
