Biography
I was born in Manisa - Turkey. I have been drawing cartoon for 32 years. I have been working as a graphic designer. Besides cartoon, I am also interested in painting and literature. I have been writing poems, humor writings, essays and political satires. My cartoon and humor writings have been published in many local, national and international humor magazines and newspapers. My cartoons have been awarded and exhibited in many exhibitions and included in many cartoon albums. I have been a member of Turkish Cartoon Association since 1997. I was also a member of the jury of the cartoon contest which was held by Syriacartoon in April 2011. Furthermore, I was in the jury of two cartoon contests held in Turkey. I drew political cartoons for a newspaper the title of which was Demokrat Söylem, published in İzmir, between the years of 1995 and 1997. I drew cartoons the theme of which were mostly women for weekly humor magazines such as Delidolu, Şarlo, Maydanoz and Eurocanlar. As I continue my professional career as a graphic designer, I draw mostly caricature and universal cartoons now. In addition to my cartoons included on the international websites like Toonpool, Don Quichotte, Syriacartoon, Irancartoon, Brazil Cartoon, CNC Cartoncenter and Toons Mag, I publish daily my cartoons on the website of İzmir’de Sanat.
