Julije Jelaska, born 05.03.1969. in Zadar, Dalmatia, Croatia. School of fine arts and applied arts and design - SPLIT, Dalmatia (1983.-1987.) I’¨m famous zadar’s and dalmatian and croatian cartoonist and caricaturist. First caricature of mine was published on 01.08˙.1986. In SLOBODNA DALMACIJA newspapers from SPLIT, Dalmatia.Croatia. I published in the newspapers, weekly and daily, monthly : SLOBODNA DALMACIJA, OMLADINSKA ISKRA, NARODNI LIST, FOKUS (Zadar’s youth week magazine), ZADARSKI LIST,(Zadar) ZADARSKI REGIONAL, (Zadar) DALMATINSKI MAGAZIN (Split), KALELARGA PRESS, (Zadar) NOVI LIST (Rijeka, Croatia),DOMOVINA HRVATSKA, HRVATSKA DANAS (Zagreb, 1990.) Membership in CROATIAN CARTOONIST ASSOTIATION from 1995., and with them a lots of international cartoonists and caricaturists festivals. PUBLISHED in ALL MAIN HUMOR MAGAZINES IN CROATIA. Published in ČVORAK humor magazine, 1993./1994., and be present as author in all of 12.-th MSK ČVORAK caricaturist festivals in BJELOVAR / Croatia. Published also in prestigious humor magazine BEREKIN from Split, and POTEPUH from Donja Stubica nearby Zagreb. Today, editor in cheef and founder in FORUM CARTOONS international humor e-mag.Also have a column “SHORTCUT”, about one year and half in the turkish international humor magazine “FENAMIZAH” (www.fenamizah.com) Skillful same time for classic animation, drawing with a classic and digital artist tools like Corel Painter, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, of course.
